Updates from Trinidad/Guyana

Conclusion of last month’s crusade off our balcony reaped another saved soul and two lives rededicated to Jesus. Praise the Lord! This brings us to 15 people saved in the last 3 months, three rededicating their lives and six baptized in the Holy Spirit with signs following. What a blessing to be part of this. Currently we are awaiting our visas to be renewed and the Foursquare church registration to come about. There is a lot of red tape to go through and a particular way to do it. It is definitely a patience builder. Please keep praying for these areas as well as us. This process is hindering our ability to get in and be obedient to the Lord’s calling.

While we are awaiting government approval, Pastor Marchan and I are planning to reach out to a new area in Siparia region. It is one hour south of where we are located now and in the mountain region. It is another area underserved by any churches here. It would be considered a stronghold of Hinduism. It is our belief that this area is ripe for the Gospel at this point in time and ready for harvest. We have new converts that have contacts in this area so we will be well received. Lord willing, we will begin crusades in late April and Early May. Each crusade is labor intensive and costs about $100US to perform. It is worth it all should some to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ and better yet a church established in this area. Please be praying for this outreach effort to save souls and the opportunity for a church to be planted. We are still in the process of registration so any building projects are on hold but we are gearing up for both outreach and build teams coming to Trinidad later on in the year once the registration has been completed. If your team would like to be a part of the new Foursquare Churches in Central or Southern Trinidad let me know? We will let you know what we are looking for here and get you what you need to know to be an effective witness to the Trini people.

In your quiet time remember the core church team in Enterprise. With little resources and a lot of hard work they are faithfully working on clearing and securing the donated property for a future new church. Several newly baptized Trinis are volunteering and being strengthened in the faith as they serve. This is welcome progress for their spiritual growth. Please keep praying for them to be strong in the face of severe cultural drawing to the contrary. Bynoe-Trace outreach is remaining strong. Some of the criminal element that has been saved recently now are struggling.
However the Lord is showing them through trials and tribulations that He will not be taken for granted. It is a continual process in this area that people will go forward a few steps, fall back a little, then regain their footing again. Keep praying for their development and the Bynoe-Trace work. The Lord is moving strongly in this area particularly setting people free from addictions and fear.
Celebrating Christ’s Resurrection in the lives of Trinis Where we are at in the process We have been in Trinidad for three months and our visas have expired. We are renewing them now and reaching out to a new area in the Southern part of Trinidad. Thank you for your continued support in prayer and finances. It has allowed a Thanksgiving dinner, a crusade to happen and made a deep impact in the lives of many people here. Janae’s Monthly Message Janae misses her grandparents, her friends, cousins and her sissy very much. She is in the last part of the school year and with the travel involved on the mission field finds it very hard to have quality study time and then play time. It is easy to
become fearful of the the unknown and that which is unfamiliar. Keep praying for adjustment and wisdom.
